I'm "quarantining" all the plants inside until it's appropriate to plant them.For a well-balanced landscape, it's advised to ensure that at least one-third of your plants are evergreen. We have no native worms in Minnesota and are very worried about jumping worms, so finding a worm is concerning. However there was an earthworm, I think a nightcrawler, but I'm going to let it grow a bit more and confirm ID. The soil pot was tapped so the soil didn't come out and the leaves and stem where in bubble wrap. It looks very healthy and was very well wrapped. I'm keeping it inside for another month or so. Strongbox and several other plants came quickly and had already started sprouting (too quickly for our planting season, we got 7" of snow yesterday). Great plants if you are willing to wait a few years for growth compared to ordering from Proven Winners. I've used Hirt's begore and will do so again in the future ! They are Proven Winners brand plants, a little smaller then what they sell directly at Proven Winners, but about half the price.
